Rebirth isn’t just a movie — it is a call to every woman (or man) who has ever been told to stay silent, stay small, or stay stuck.
Rebirth tells the story of a woman who uses boxing to heal mentally and physically after enduring domestic violence for years— not by becoming violent, but by discovering her strength.
And Jillian, who is an award winning filmmaker, isn’t just telling this story. She is living it. After surviving lung cancer from 2024–2025, Jillian, is now training to get in fight shape for this film — stepping back into the gym at 64 years old to prove that strength doesn’t have an expiration date.
“This October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, my producers Deeva Gordon, Tai Birch and I will begin filming in Philadelphia, a city built on grit, resilience, and heart. We’re inviting you to be part of something bigger than a movie. We’re inviting you into the
Rebirth Movement.” – Jillian
ABOUT REBIRTH
Logline – When Jewel Paige, who is a victim of domestic violence, awakens from a coma after a head injury, her world is turned upside down when she learns her husband died, and she has acquired superhuman strength, speed, and regenerative powers.
Tagline - Backed by Faith Anything is Possible
Tone – Rocky + Million Dollar Baby + Creed
Story of an underdog. Gritty, drama fueled, boxing with elements of MMA.

Every year, millions of women (and men) experience domestic violence.
Many feel trapped.
Many feel invisible.
Many feel powerless.
Stats:
- Approximately 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence each year.
- Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner, amounting to more than 10 million individuals annually.
- Victims of domestic violence often suffer from long-term physical and mental health issues.
- The economic cost of domestic violence is estimated to exceed $8.3 billion annually in the U.S. due to healthcare, legal, and lost productivity costs.
Rebirth shows something radical:
That a woman (or man) does not need permission to reclaim their life. That physical strength builds emotional courage.
That learning how to fight changes how you see yourself.
That survival is not weakness — it is power.
This film is not about brutality. It is about
breaking free through faith and action.
WHY JILLIAN IS MAKING THIS FILM

Jillian Bullock is an award-winning filmmaker, a survivor, and a fighter — literally. When she was younger, she was involved in a couple of violent relationships. The only thing that saved her was her ability to fight back. She was a martial artist and held two black belts – one in Tae Kwon Do and the other in Wing Chun. After going to therapy for a number of years, Jillian was able to heal mentally and go on to have healthier relationships.
Rebirth is personal and inspired by true events. Not only Jillian’s story, but for many more. Besides creating a film that is empowering, educational and entertaining, Jillian wants to take on a tough topic in a way that hasn’t been done before, until now.

What makes Rebirth different and truly unique is the person behind it. The film is not simply telling a story about survival — it is being lived in real time by its creator, Jillian Bullock.
Jillian is training in boxing so that Rebirth is not just authentic — it is real. Every punch, every breath, every drop of sweat on screen is coming from someone who knows what it means to fight for her life.
Until October, Jillian is training in:
- Boxing
- MMA
- Strength training
- Kettlebells
- Pilates
- Yoga
- Cardio conditioning
Every drop of sweat is part of the story. One woman. One fight. One Rebirth.
